- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat and grease waffle iron: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions and lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix to keep the waffles tender.
- Cook the waffles: Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle iron, spreading evenly. Close the lid and cook according to your waffle iron’s manufacturer instructions until the waffles are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Serve warm: Remove the waffles carefully and serve immediately with your choice of toppings such as maple syrup, whipped cream, or extra cinnamon for warmth and flavor.
