Description

Mini Pizza Burgers combine juicy mini beef burgers with classic pizza flavors like marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni slices, sandwiched between buttery slider buns and baked to golden perfection. These bite-sized sliders are perfect as a fun appetizer, a family dinner treat, or a game-day snack everyone will love.

Ingredients

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Assembly & Toppings

  • 12 slider buns
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s ready to melt the cheese and toast the buns later.
  2. Prepare the Burger Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper thoroughly to evenly season the patties.
  3. Form Mini Burger Patties: Shape the seasoned beef into 12 small, evenly sized patties to fit your slider buns.
  4. Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3–4 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked and browned.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Spread each bottom bun with marinara sauce, then top with a cooked beef patty.
  6. Add Pepperoni and Cheese: Place two slices of pepperoni on each patty, then sprinkle evenly with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Top and Season: Place the top bun halves over the cheese. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake the Sliders: Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the buns turn golden brown and slightly toasted.
  9. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve warm, optionally providing extra marinara sauce for dipping alongside.

Notes

  • Substitute the pepperoni with cooked sausage, sautéed mushrooms, olives, or diced bell peppers for different flavor variations.
  • For extra crispy tops, broil the sliders for 1–2 minutes after baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • Make sure patties are not too thick so they cook evenly within the short skillet timing.
  • Use freshly shredded mozzarella for best melting results.
