Chicken and Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season Chicken: Pat the sliced chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper evenly.
  3. Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken slices and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Add Garlic: Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic to the pan. Sauté briefly for about 30 seconds to release the aroma, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  5. Simmer with Broth: Pour in the 1/2 cup of chicken broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes to reduce slightly and meld the flavors.
  6. Toss Pasta and Cheese: Add the cooked bowtie pasta back into the skillet along with 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated and the cheese melts into the sauce.
