Ingredients
Naan Bread Pizza
- 4 naan breads
- 2 fresh peaches, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn
- 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn or chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional), to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the naan breads on a baking sheet to prepare for topping.
- Brush Naan with Olive Oil: Lightly brush each naan bread with olive oil to help crisp the base and add flavor during baking.
- Prepare Peach Slices: Slice the fresh peaches into thin wedges for even layering on the naan.
- Arrange Toppings: Spread the peach slices evenly over each naan. Add slices of fresh mozzarella and sprinkle crumbled goat cheese on top.
- Season: Lightly season the pizzas with salt and black pepper to enhance the flavors.
- Bake: Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the naan is crisp and cheeses have melted.
- Finish with Basil and Drizzle: Remove the pizzas from the oven and let cool for a minute. Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top, then drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze.
- Add Heat (Optional): Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top if you prefer a bit of spice.
- Serve Warm: Slice the naan pizzas and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use store-bought naan bread for convenience and quick preparation.
- Fresh peaches are preferred, but thawed, well-drained frozen peaches or nectarines can be used as substitutes.
- Try variations by adding prosciutto, cooked bacon, or grilled chicken for a heartier option.
- Ricotta, burrata, or feta can replace mozzarella or goat cheese according to preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in an oven, toaster oven, or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
- Add fresh basil and balsamic glaze after reheating for optimal flavor.
- For a no- or low-dairy version, use dairy-free cheese alternatives or omit cheese.
