Description

Watermelon Slushy is a refreshing treat made with fresh watermelon, ice, and a hint of sweetness. It’s a simple, hydrating, and delicious drink perfect for hot summer days, bringing a light and fruity flavor with every sip.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed (seeds removed)
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional, for extra zing)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing any seeds. For a colder slushy, freeze the watermelon cubes before blending (optional).
  2. In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes, ice, honey or agave syrup (if using), and lime juice (if using). Blend on high until smooth and slushy in texture. Add a little water if needed to help it blend.
  3. Taste the slushy and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lime juice as preferred.
  4. Pour the slushy into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a thicker consistency, use frozen watermelon or add more ice.
  • For a tropical twist, replace lime juice with fresh lemon or add a splash of coconut water.
