Ingredients
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Orange slices for garnish
- Cranberries for garnish (optional)
- Sparkling water (optional, for fizz)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon stick, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Heat over medium-low heat and simmer gently for 8–10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and strain out the cinnamon stick and cloves.
- Pour into mugs. For a sparkling version, add a splash of sparkling water just before serving.
- Garnish with orange slices and cranberries.
Notes
- For a spiked version, add a splash of rum
- Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Can be made ahead and reheated gently before serving.
