Description
Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea is a cozy, flavorful beverage that combines the warmth of cinnamon with the sweetness of vanilla and the creaminess of milk tea, creating a comforting drink perfect for chilly days or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 black tea bag (or 1 tablespoon loose-leaf black tea)
- 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free milk of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
- A pinch of ground cinnamon (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the milk: While the tea is brewing, heat the milk in a separate pot over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to let it boil. Once warm, remove it from the heat.
- Add cinnamon and vanilla: Stir in the ground cinnamon and vanilla extract into the warm milk. Whisk gently to combine and create a smooth, spiced flavor.
- Combine the tea and milk: Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bag (or strain the loose-leaf tea) and pour the brewed tea into a mug. Add the spiced milk mixture to the tea.
- Sweeten: Stir in honey or sugar to taste, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
- Garnish: Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top for extra spice and aroma.
- Serve: Enjoy your Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea while it’s warm and comforting!
Notes
- Spicy Cinnamon Milk Tea: Add more cinnamon or a dash of ground ginger or nutmeg for a more complex flavor.
- Vanilla Almond Milk Tea: Substitute the regular milk with almond milk for a slightly nutty, dairy-free version of this drink.
- Sweetened condensed milk: For a richer, creamier flavor, you can use sweetened condensed milk instead of regular milk and honey or sugar.
