Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1–2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
- 1 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice (for strawberry base)
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry base: In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1/4 cup pineapple juice. Blend until smooth. Add more juice if necessary.
- Make the pineapple coconut smoothie: In the same blender, add the fresh pineapple, ice cubes, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and brown sugar (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Assemble the smoothie: Pour the pineapple coconut mixture into a glass, then add a layer of the strawberry base on top. Swirl or layer them for a beautiful two-tone effect.
