Description
Touchdown Tropical Fizz is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that combines tropical fruit juices and fizzy soda, making it the perfect drink for any celebration or sunny day.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/4 cup coconut water (optional, for a more tropical taste)
- 1 tablespoon grenadine
- 1/2 cup club soda or lemon-lime soda
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and pineapple slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the juices: In a cocktail shaker, combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, and coconut water (if using). Add a few ice cubes and shake vigorously to combine.
- Prepare the glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill.
- Pour the juice mixture: Strain the juice mixture into the glass, filling it about 3/4 full.
- Add grenadine and fizz: Slowly pour the grenadine into the drink. It will sink to the bottom, creating a beautiful gradient effect. Top off the drink with club soda or lemon-lime soda.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with a lime wedge, a slice of pineapple, and a sprig of fresh mint for a tropical touch. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
Notes
- For a frozen version, blend the juices with ice cubes and top with soda and grenadine.
- Frozen fruit like mango or pineapple can be used as ice cubes to add flavor without diluting the drink.
