Description

The Viral Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread combines crispy garlic bread with creamy chicken Alfredo for the ultimate comfort food experience. Loaded with cheesy, garlicky flavors and rich Alfredo sauce, this dish is perfect for any occasion, easy to make, and guaranteed to satisfy.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 loaf of Italian bread or French baguette
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. For the chicken and Alfredo sauce: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and mozzarella cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy. Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and stir into the sauce. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  3. For the garlic bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the bread in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Spread evenly on both halves of the bread and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Place bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until crispy and golden. Remove from the oven and spoon the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bread. Top with extra mozzarella cheese.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice and serve hot with a garnish of parsley or grated Parmesan.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli to the Alfredo sauce.
  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the Alfredo sauce for a spicy kick.
