Instructions

- Make the crumble topping: In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or fingers to work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Assemble the crumble: Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the apple mixture.
- Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown and crisp. The apples should be soft but not mushy.
