Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray to ensure the bars don’t stick.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large pot over low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Once melted, add 4 cups of mini marshmallows, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and completely melted.
- Combine with Cereal: Remove the pot from heat and quickly stir in 6 cups of Cap’n Crunch cereal, ensuring all the pieces are evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan to form an even layer.
- Cool and Set: Allow the bars to cool and set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Optional Decoration: If desired, melt 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled bars, then add sprinkles or crushed candies for extra flair. Allow the chocolate to set before cutting.
- Cut and Serve: Once fully set, cut into bars or squares and serve as a sweet snack or dessert.
