Description
A light, refreshing frozen yogurt bark made with creamy strawberry Greek yogurt and topped with fresh fruit and heart-shaped sprinkles. This no-bake, healthy treat makes a perfect guilt-free dessert or snack for Valentine’s Day and kids.
Ingredients
Yogurt Mixture
- 2 cups strawberry Greek yogurt (or vanilla yogurt)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Toppings
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- ¼ cup blueberries or raspberries (optional)
- Heart-shaped sprinkles or candy (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make it easy to remove the bark later.
- Mix Yogurt: In a bowl, stir the strawberry Greek yogurt together with honey or maple syrup if you want added sweetness.
- Spread Yogurt: Evenly spread the yogurt mixture onto the prepared parchment paper, making it about a ¼-inch thick layer for optimal freezing and crunch.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the sliced strawberries, optional berries, and heart-shaped sprinkles or candy evenly over the yogurt layer.
- Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the bark for 2 to 3 hours, or until completely firm to the touch.
- Serve: Once frozen solid, break the bark into 8–10 pieces or cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter. Keep the bark frozen until ready to serve.
Notes
- For the creamiest texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
- Allow the bark to sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
- Store any leftovers frozen for up to 2 weeks for best freshness.
- This bark is a great healthy alternative to traditional candy and sweets for Valentine’s Day or snacks.
