Description

Salami Pinwheels are an easy and delicious party appetizer made by spreading a creamy herb mixture on tortillas, layering with savory salami slices and optional fillings, then rolling them into bite-sized pinwheels. Perfect for gatherings and quick snacks.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large tortillas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 slices salami
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs

Optional Ingredients

  • Spinach leaves
  • Shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese mixture: In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese with Italian herbs until evenly mixed and creamy.
  2. Spread the mixture on tortillas: Using a spatula or knife, spread the herb cream cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla, covering the entire surface.
  3. Add salami and optional fillings: Lay the 12 salami slices evenly over the cream cheese layer. If using, add spinach leaves and shredded cheese evenly on top.
  4. Roll the tortillas tightly: Starting at one edge, roll each tortilla tightly to form a log shape, ensuring the fillings stay securely inside.
  5. Chill before slicing: Wrap the rolled tortillas in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up, making slicing easier.
  6. Slice into pinwheels and serve: Remove from the fridge, unwrap, and using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 1-inch bite-sized pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy.
