Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of Raspberry Vanilla Chai with this easy-to-follow recipe. This warm and fragrant beverage is perfect for cozy evenings or as a special treat any time of day.

Ingredients

For the Chai Tea:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey

For the Raspberry Syrup:

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

To Serve:

  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chai Tea: In a saucepan, combine water, tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, ginger, vanilla extract, and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Raspberry Syrup: In a separate saucepan, combine raspberries, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, mashing the raspberries as they cook.
  3. Strain and Assemble: Strain the chai tea and raspberry syrup. In a cup, mix 1/2 cup of the chai tea with 2-3 tablespoons of raspberry syrup. Heat the milk and froth using a frother or whisk. Pour the frothed milk over the chai and raspberry mixture. Garnish with fresh raspberries and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the raspberry syrup to suit your taste preferences.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of milk, such as almond or oat milk, for a dairy-free option.
