Description

A rich and festive chocolate peppermint cocktail combining smooth vodka, coffee liqueur, and peppermint schnapps with creamy goodness — perfect for holiday celebrations and delivering your favorite mocha flavors in elegant martini form.

Ingredients

Liquors

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz crème de cacao (white or dark)
  • 1 oz peppermint schnapps

Cream and Garnishes

  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Crushed candy canes or cocoa powder for rim
  • Optional: whipped cream + chocolate drizzle for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Rim a martini glass with chocolate syrup or cream, then dip the rim into crushed candy canes or cocoa powder to coat evenly.
  2. Fill Shaker with Ice: Add plenty of ice to a cocktail shaker to chill the ingredients properly.
  3. Add Liquids: Pour in the vodka, coffee liqueur, crème de cacao, peppermint schnapps, and heavy cream or half-and-half into the shaker.
  4. Shake Well: Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the mixture is cold and frothy.
  5. Strain and Serve: Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass carefully to avoid disturbing the rim garnish.
  6. Garnish: Optionally top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup for an extra festive touch.

Notes

  • For a keto-friendly option, substitute with sugar-free chocolate and sugar-free schnapps alternatives.
  • Add ½ teaspoon of espresso powder to intensify the mocha flavor.
  • Use dark crème de cacao to create a richer dark chocolate style cocktail.
