Description

These thin, crispy Parmesan cheese bites are the easiest two-ingredient snack you’ll ever make. They’re crunchy, salty, and perfect for topping soups, salads, or serving as a low-carb party appetizer.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon mounds of Parmesan cheese on the prepared sheet, about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder or herbs if using.
  4. Bake 5–7 minutes, until edges are golden and crisps are bubbling.
  5. Let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Enjoy as-is, or use as a crunchy topper for salads, soups, or charcuterie boards.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results—pre-shredded cheese may not melt as well.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Try mixing Parmesan with a little cheddar or Asiago for variety.
