Description
These thin, crispy Parmesan cheese bites are the easiest two-ingredient snack you’ll ever make. They’re crunchy, salty, and perfect for topping soups, salads, or serving as a low-carb party appetizer.
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place 1 tablespoon mounds of Parmesan cheese on the prepared sheet, about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder or herbs if using.
- Bake 5–7 minutes, until edges are golden and crisps are bubbling.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy as-is, or use as a crunchy topper for salads, soups, or charcuterie boards.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results—pre-shredded cheese may not melt as well.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Try mixing Parmesan with a little cheddar or Asiago for variety.
