Description
Warm and melty oven-baked turkey and cheese sliders made with Hawaiian rolls, perfect for game day gatherings or quick family dinners.
Ingredients
Sliders
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices deli turkey
- 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
Topping
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp everything bagel seasoning (or sesame seeds)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the sliders evenly.
- Prepare rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them entirely, keeping the batch intact to make serving easier.
- Layer fillings: On the bottom half of the rolls, evenly layer all 12 slices of deli turkey, then place the halved Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey.
- Close and brush: Place the top half of the rolls back over the layered turkey and cheese. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the Dijon mustard and brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
- Season: Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds evenly over the buttered tops to add flavor and a crunch.
- Bake sliders: Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
- Serve: Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice individual sliders apart and serve warm.
Notes
- Substitute ham or roast beef for a different flavor variation.
- These sliders make an excellent use of leftover holiday turkey.
