Instructions

  1. Heat Oil and Brown Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and cook until the pieces are lightly browned on all sides, ensuring they are partially cooked through.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the pot with the chicken and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add Rice and Broth: Stir in the uncooked rice and pour in the chicken broth. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  4. Simmer Covered: Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
