Description
No-Bake Pineapple Cream Dessert is a light, creamy, and refreshing treat that combines the tropical sweetness of pineapple with a smooth, fluffy cream filling. With a graham cracker crust and layers of pineapple cream, it’s a quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing dessert.
Ingredients
- For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- For the Filling:
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (drained)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional for extra tang)
- For Garnish:
- Additional crushed pineapple (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Add the melted butter and stir until evenly combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch square baking dish (or similar-sized dish) to form an even crust. Set aside.
- Make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract and continue to beat until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple and, if desired, add a tablespoon of lemon juice for extra tang.
- Assemble the dessert: Spread the pineapple cream filling evenly over the graham cracker crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Chill: Cover the dessert with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best results.
- Serve: Before serving, garnish with additional crushed pineapple, whipped cream, and fresh mint leaves, if desired. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For a tropical twist, you can add shredded coconut to the filling or use it as a garnish.
- Fresh fruit like mango, peaches, or strawberries can be used to substitute pineapple for a fruity variation.
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese and reduce the amount of heavy cream.
- If you’re in a time crunch, using a store-bought graham cracker crust is a great shortcut.
