Ingredients
-
1 shot of espresso (or 1/2 cup brewed strong coffee)
-
1 cup milk (any kind, dairy or plant-based)
-
2 tbsp Lotus Biscoff spread (or more, depending on desired sweetness)
-
1 tbsp vanilla syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
-
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
-
Crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies (optional, for garnish)
- Cinnamon or nutmeg (optional, for a light spice)
Instructions
-
Coffee:
-
Your espresso shot or strong coffee and set aside.
-
-
Heat the Milk:
-
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling. Alternatively, you can steam the milk using a milk frother.
-
-
Mix in Lotus Biscoff Spread:
-
Add the Lotus Biscoff spread to the warm milk and stir until it’s fully dissolved. If the mixture is too thick, you can heat it a little longer or add a splash of water to thin it out.
-
-
Assemble the Latte:
-
Pour the brewed espresso or coffee into your mug. Add the Lotus Biscoff milk mixture and stir to combine.
-
-
Optional Sweetening:
-
If desired, add a tablespoon of vanilla syrup to sweeten the latte further, and stir well.
-
-
Top and Garnish:
-
Top with whipped cream for extra indulgence (optional), then sprinkle crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies on top for a crunchy garnish. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm spice touch.
-
-
Serve:
- Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Lotus Biscoff Latte!
Notes
-
Adjust the amount of Lotus Biscoff spread to suit your preferred sweetness and flavor intensity.
-
For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
-
If you don’t have vanilla syrup, you can substitute it with a small amount of vanilla extract or simply enjoy the natural flavor of the Biscoff spread.
- This latte can also be iced – simply cool the brewed coffee and milk mixture, then serve over ice.
