Description

  • 4 large potatoes

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) to prepare for baking the potatoes evenly.
  2. Prepare Potatoes: Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them all over with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
  3. Bake Potatoes: Place the prepared potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45 to 60 minutes until the skin is crisp and the inside is tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. Fluff Inside: Carefully cut open each baked potato lengthwise and fluff the inside flesh with a fork to create a soft base for toppings.
