Description
A refreshing and creamy iced latte made with brewed coffee, almond milk, carob syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, perfect for a warm afternoon or midday pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brewed coffee or espresso (cooled)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1–2 tablespoons carob syrup or honey (adjust based on sweetness preference)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Optional: Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- In a glass, combine the cooled coffee or espresso with the unsweetened almond milk.
- Stir in the carob syrup (or honey), ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor and presentation.
- Stir before drinking to blend the spices and sweetness. Enjoy!
Notes
- Non-dairy options: Swap the almond milk for oat milk, coconut milk, or any other non-dairy milk for a different flavor profile.
- Sweetener Alternatives: You can use maple syrup, stevia, or agave syrup instead of carob syrup or honey.
- Hot version: Skip the ice and heat the almond milk before combining it with the coffee.
- This drink is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
- For a frothy texture, use a milk frother or shake the almond milk in a jar before adding it to the coffee.
