Honey Lavender Lemonade is a refreshing and fragrant drink combining fresh lemon juice, soothing lavender, and natural honey. Perfect for warm days, it’s a delightful twist on classic lemonade with a floral note.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/3 cup honey (adjust to taste)
- 2 teaspoons dried culinary lavender
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and lavender sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water, honey, and dried lavender. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let steep for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
- Add fresh lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs, if using.
Notes
- Use culinary-grade lavender only to ensure it is safe for consumption.
- For a sparkling version, replace cold water with sparkling water.
- Store any leftover lemonade in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
