Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs/drumsticks)

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)

Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly to avoid burning. Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, basting it with the sauce as it cooks.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes or add chopped fresh chili peppers to the sauce.
