Description

A quick and easy garlic bread recipe using sliced bread. Buttery, garlicky, and crispy, it’s perfect for pairing with pasta, soups, or as a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sliced bread (16 slices)
  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 68 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, add it to the mixture and stir everything together until well-combined.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on each slice of bread, covering the surface evenly.
  4. Arrange the buttered slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy around the edges.
  6. Optional: For an extra crispy finish, broil the garlic bread for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove the garlic bread from the oven and serve warm.
