Ingredients
Greens
- 1 cup fresh spinach (or kale)
Fruits
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango
Liquids and Boosters
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
- Add Ingredients: Add all the ingredients including spinach, frozen banana, frozen pineapple or mango, almond milk, chia seeds, fresh grated ginger, honey or maple syrup, and ice cubes into a high-speed blender.
- Blend: Blend the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy. Pause to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if desired. Also, add more liquid if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
