Description
Easy Garlic Parmesan Knots are soft, fluffy, and coated with a rich garlic butter and Parmesan mixture. These savory knots are perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack, and can be made in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, optional for garnish)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a clean surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips (about 1-inch wide).
- Take each strip of dough and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath. Repeat with the remaining dough strips.
- Place the dough knots onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Once the knots are done baking, remove them from the oven and generously coat each knot with the garlic Parmesan butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the knots with additional grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley (if using). Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add dried herbs like oregano, basil, or thyme to the garlic butter mixture.
- For a cheesy twist, sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the knots during the last 3 minutes of baking.
- Add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
- Serve with extra garlic butter for dipping.
