Description

Easy Garlic Parmesan Knots are soft, fluffy, and coated with a rich garlic butter and Parmesan mixture. These savory knots are perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack, and can be made in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, optional for garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a clean surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips (about 1-inch wide).
  3. Take each strip of dough and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath. Repeat with the remaining dough strips.
  4. Place the dough knots onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  5. While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Once the knots are done baking, remove them from the oven and generously coat each knot with the garlic Parmesan butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the knots with additional grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley (if using). Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add dried herbs like oregano, basil, or thyme to the garlic butter mixture.
  • For a cheesy twist, sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the knots during the last 3 minutes of baking.
  • Add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with extra garlic butter for dipping.
