- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Prepare vegetables: Place the sliced onion, chopped carrots, and minced garlic into the bottom of the crock pot to form a flavorful base.
- Season the roast: Rub the beef chuck roast evenly with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary to infuse it with herbs and seasoning.
- Add the roast: Lay the seasoned roast on top of the vegetables in the crock pot, ensuring it sits well among them.
- Pour liquids: Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast and vegetables, adding moisture and depth of flavor for slow cooking.
