Description

Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites are a festive and irresistible appetizer featuring flaky puff pastry, creamy brie, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce. They’re quick to make, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Puff Pastry:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Brie Cheese:

  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes

Cranberry Sauce:

  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Optional Drizzle:

  • 1 tablespoon honey

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 squares.
  3. Press each puff pastry square into a muffin tin well.
  4. Place a cube of brie in each pastry cup.
  5. Top with 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce.
  6. Beat the egg and lightly brush pastry edges with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Remove from oven, cool slightly, then drizzle with honey and garnish with rosemary if desired.

Notes

  • You can use leftover Thanksgiving cranberry sauce for this recipe.
  • Substitute fig jam, raspberry preserves, or apricot jam for a different flavor.
  • Best served warm, but can be reheated in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes.
