Ingredients

Chicken and Seasoning

Sauce

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat Oil: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Cook Chicken: Season the 2 boneless chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, then place in the hot skillet. Cook each side for 5–6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Deglaze and Add Broth: Pour in 1/2 cup chicken broth, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet for added flavor.
  5. Add Seasonings and Dairy: Stir in 1 packet ranch seasoning mix, 1/2 cup heavy cream, and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Simmer with Chicken: Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let everything simmer together for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is heated through.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped parsley over the top, then serve the creamy ranch chicken warm alongside your choice of sides like rice, pasta, or vegetables.
