Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp sugar
Liquid Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Additional:
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Cook the Pancakes: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease with butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Sprinkle a few blueberries on top of each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve: Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup and extra blueberries, if desired.
