Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
