Description

Chicken Spaghetti with Burrata and Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce is a luxurious pasta dish featuring tender chicken, a bright lemony butter sauce, and creamy burrata cheese for a comforting yet elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ball burrata cheese (about 4 oz)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the mixture is dry. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Transfer pasta to serving plates. Tear burrata cheese over the top and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
  • Add sautéed vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrition.
  • Use mozzarella or ricotta if burrata is unavailable.
  • Reheat with a splash of broth or water to loosen the sauce.
  • Add burrata just before serving for the best texture.
