Description

Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread is a hearty and indulgent dish combining crispy garlic bread topped with creamy Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of thick-cut Italian or French bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, diced (can use rotisserie chicken for convenience)
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over each slice of bread.
  4. Place the buttered bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. While the bread toasts, heat the Alfredo sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Once warm, stir in the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove the bread from the oven and spoon the Alfredo chicken mixture onto each slice.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken Alfredo mixture.
  8. Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with extra parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • If using store-bought garlic bread, skip the buttering and seasoning step, then just add the chicken Alfredo mixture on top.
  • For extra cheesiness, double the mozzarella or add a sprinkle of Parmesan before baking.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the Alfredo sauce.
  • If you prefer a vegetarian option, substitute the chicken with sautéed veggies like mushrooms or spinach.
