Description
Cherry Coke Slushies are a refreshing and fun twist on the classic Cherry Coke, transforming it into a frozen treat with a cool, slushy texture. Perfect for hot days, parties, or just a sweet indulgence, these slushies are customizable and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cherry Coke (or regular Coke and cherry syrup)
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice (optional, for extra cherry flavor)
- 1–2 maraschino cherries (for garnish)
- 1/2 cup frozen cherries (optional, for a thicker slushy)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine Cherry Coke, ice cubes, and maraschino cherry juice (if using). Blend on high until the ice is crushed and the mixture has a smooth, slushy consistency. Add frozen cherries for a thicker slushy if desired.
- If the slushy is too thick, add more Cherry Coke or a splash of water and blend again. If too thin, add more ice cubes to thicken.
- Pour the slushy into glasses and garnish with maraschino cherries.
- Serve immediately with a straw or spoon and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra cherry flavor, increase maraschino cherry juice or use cherry soda instead of Cherry Coke.
- For more fizz, add a splash of club soda or lemon-lime soda just before blending.
- Customize with other soda flavors like vanilla Coke for a unique twist.
- For a creamy version, add vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt for a milkshake-like texture.
