Description

Cheesy Garlic Bread with Turkey Beef is a savory and flavorful snack or side dish that features crispy bread topped with a buttery, cheesy spread, crispy turkey beef, and tangy marinara sauce, perfect for pizza nights or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices sturdy bread (sourdough or Italian loaf)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 tbsp grated hard cheese (e.g., Parmesan)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (dried)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza or marinara sauce
  • 24 slices turkey beef

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic). Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each slice of bread, making sure to cover the surface completely.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the garlic butter on each slice of bread.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey beef slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Once cooked, break the slices in half and arrange them on top of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Place the bread in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. After baking, spoon a little pizza or marinara sauce onto each slice of bread. Optionally, sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  8. Let the cheesy garlic bread cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy while still warm!

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey beef and enjoy the cheesy garlic bread as is.
  • Add red pepper flakes or jalapeños for a spicy kick in the garlic butter.
  • Sprinkle fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or oregano on top after baking for extra flavor.
