Description
Cheesy Garlic Bread with Turkey Beef is a savory and flavorful snack or side dish that features crispy bread topped with a buttery, cheesy spread, crispy turkey beef, and tangy marinara sauce, perfect for pizza nights or as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- 8 slices sturdy bread (sourdough or Italian loaf)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 tbsp grated hard cheese (e.g., Parmesan)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (dried)
- ½ tsp garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pizza or marinara sauce
- 24 slices turkey beef
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic). Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each slice of bread, making sure to cover the surface completely.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the garlic butter on each slice of bread.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey beef slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Once cooked, break the slices in half and arrange them on top of the mozzarella cheese.
- Place the bread in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- After baking, spoon a little pizza or marinara sauce onto each slice of bread. Optionally, sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
- Let the cheesy garlic bread cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy while still warm!
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey beef and enjoy the cheesy garlic bread as is.
- Add red pepper flakes or jalapeños for a spicy kick in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or oregano on top after baking for extra flavor.
