Instructions
-
Prepare the Cheese Puff Batter:
-
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

Add the shredded cheese and mix to coat the cheese in the dry ingredients.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and melted butter together until smooth.
-
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until you form a thick batter.
-

Preheat the Air Fryer:
-
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

-
Shape the Cheese Puffs:
-
Using a spoon or your hands, scoop small portions of the batter (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into balls.
-
Place the cheese puffs on a parchment paper-lined tray or directly in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re spaced apart.
-
-
Cook the Cheese Puffs:
-
Air fry the cheese puffs at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they’re golden brown and puffed up.
-
-
Serve:
-
Remove the cheese puffs from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute or two.
-
Serve with sour cream or a sprinkle of chopped chives or parsley for extra flavor.
-
Notes
-
You can experiment with different types of cheese, such as mozzarella, Parmesan, or a cheese blend.
-
