Description

A luxurious yet simple hors d’oeuvre pairing briny caviar with cool, tangy crème fraîche on crisp bases.


Ingredients

Caviar and Crème Fraîche

  • 2 oz caviar (sturgeon or roe)

Creme Fraiche

  • 1/2 cup crème fraîche or sour cream

Bases

  • 20 mini blinis or toast points

Garnish

  • Chopped chives for garnish


Instructions

  1. Arrange bases on platter. Place mini blinis or toast points on a serving platter.
  2. Spoon crème fraîche and caviar. Top each base with ½ teaspoon of crème fraîche and ¼ teaspoon of caviar.
  3. Garnish with chives. Sprinkle chopped chives over the caviar and crème fraîche bites.
