Description

This caramel hazelnut iced coffee combines bold brewed coffee with sweet caramel and hazelnut syrups, creamy milk, and ice cubes for a refreshing and indulgent treat. Topped with whipped cream and extra syrup drizzles, it’s the perfect coffee shop-inspired drink at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons caramel syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut syrup
  • ½ cup milk or cream (or dairy-free alternative)
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional for garnish)
  • Additional caramel and hazelnut syrup for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  2. In a glass, combine the cooled coffee with caramel syrup and hazelnut syrup. Stir well to blend the flavors.
  3. Add the milk or cream (or dairy-free alternative) to the coffee mixture and stir until combined. Adjust the sweetness by adding more caramel or hazelnut syrup if desired.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Optionally, top with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel and hazelnut syrup for extra sweetness and a beautiful presentation.
  6. Stir and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk instead of regular milk or cream.
  • Add a splash of vanilla syrup or cinnamon syrup for a different flavor dimension. You could also try a touch of chocolate syrup for a mocha variation.
  • If you prefer less sweetness, reduce the amount of caramel and hazelnut syrup or substitute with sugar-free syrups.
  • This iced coffee is best served fresh, but you can store leftover brewed coffee in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes to avoid watering down the drink.
