Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut biscuits into quarters and spread them evenly in the prepared dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Do not drain all the fat.
- Sprinkle flour over sausage, stirring to coat. Cook for 1 minute.

- In a bowl, whisk eggs and pour evenly over the biscuits in the dish.
- Pour sausage gravy over the eggs and biscuits.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until eggs are set and biscuits are golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use spicy sausage for extra flavor.
- Make ahead by assembling the night before and refrigerating, then baking in the morning.
- Serve with hot sauce for a Southern touch.
