Description

Berry yogurt bark is a refreshing and healthy frozen snack made with creamy Greek yogurt and a colorful mix of juicy berries. This easy-to-make treat is naturally sweetened, customizable, and perfect as a guilt-free dessert or kid-friendly snack that requires no cooking.

Ingredients

Yogurt Base

  • 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Toppings

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), chopped if large

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make removal easier.
  2. Mix yogurt base: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
  3. Spread yogurt: Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer about ¼-inch thick using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  4. Add berries: Evenly sprinkle the mixed berries over the yogurt layer, pressing them slightly into the yogurt so they stick when frozen.
  5. Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the yogurt bark for 3–4 hours or until it is completely firm and set.
  6. Serve or store: Remove the frozen yogurt bark from the freezer and break or cut it into 8 pieces. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store frozen for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute dairy-free yogurt such as coconut or almond yogurt.
  • Add texture variations by sprinkling granola, shredded coconut, or mini chocolate chips on top before freezing.
  • Store the yogurt bark in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain freshness and prevent freezer burn.
