Description

This decadent Baked Brie with Peaches, Pecans, and Honey is a perfect combination of creamy cheese, sweet peaches, crunchy nuts, and the smooth richness of honey. It makes for an elegant appetizer that’s both savory and sweet, ideal for entertaining or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • For the Baked Brie:
  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese

  • 1/2 cup fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (lightly toasted, optional)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

  • For Serving:
  • Fresh baguette slices

  • Crackers

  • Fresh fruit (such as grapes or apple slices)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Prepare the Brie:

    • Place the Brie cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small baking dish. Leave the rind on to help the cheese hold its shape while baking.

  • Prepare the Topping:

    • In a small bowl, combine the sliced peaches, chopped pecans, honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon (if using). Stir gently to combine.

  • Assemble:

    • Spoon the peach and pecan mixture evenly over the top of the Brie.

  • Bake:

    • Bake the Brie for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and soft in the center, and the topping is bubbly and golden brown.

  • Serve:

    • Remove the Brie from the oven and let it sit for a minute to cool slightly.

    • Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.

  • Serve with sliced baguette, crackers, and fresh fruit.

Notes

  • You can use canned peaches if fresh ones are out of season, but fresh is always best.

  • To toast the pecans, place them in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until they are fragrant and lightly golden.

  • For an extra touch, you can also add a drizzle of balsamic glaze over the finished Brie.
