Description

A festive twist on the classic margarita, made with tequila, apple cider, lime juice, and a cinnamon-sugar rim. Refreshing, cozy, and perfect for fall celebrations.


Ingredients

For the Cocktail:

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 1 oz triple sec (or Cointreau)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz agave syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes

For the Rim & Garnish:

  • Cinnamon + sugar mixture for rimming glass
  • Apple slices
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Rim a glass with lime juice and dip into cinnamon-sugar mixture. Fill with ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, apple cider, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup if using. Add ice and shake vigorously until chilled.
  3. Strain into prepared glass over fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, top with ginger beer or club soda.
  • Swap triple sec with Grand Marnier for a richer, deeper flavor.
