Ingredients
Beef Roast
- 1 lb beef roast (top round or sirloin)
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp rosemary or thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Potatoes
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp rosemary or thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking for the roast beef and potatoes.
- Prepare Beef: Rub the beef roast with half a tablespoon of olive oil and season evenly with garlic powder, rosemary or thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare Potatoes: In a bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with the remaining olive oil, garlic powder, rosemary or thyme, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Air Fry: Place the seasoned beef roast and potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping the beef and stirring or shaking the potatoes halfway through to ensure even browning and cooking.
- Rest Beef: After cooking, remove the beef from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing to retain juices and achieve desired doneness.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium.
